•Jooh Roop, 57, of North Truro, Mass., was charged Sept. 3 with driving while intoxicated, having a blood-alcohol content of .08 percent or more, aggravated unlicensed operation and failure to keep right after a one-vehicle accident in the town of Pulteney. He was arraigned and sent to the county jail on $2,500 cash bail or $500 bond.

•Robert Henry Loveland, 25, of Atlanta, N.Y., was charged Saturday with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop in the town of Wayland.

•Jeremy W. Buck, 25, of Dug Road in Pulteney, was charged Sept. 1 with unlawful growing of cannabis after several marijuana plants were found growing on his property.

•Richard A. Lane, 26, of Fulton Street in Athens, was charged Sept. 5 with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, speeding and no insurance after a traffic stop on state Route 17C in Barton.

•Raymond Rogers, 19, of Blanket Street in Barton, was charged Sept. 3 with second-degree criminal contempt stemming from a violation of an order of protection.

•Coran Cerretani, 29, of Blodgett Road in Owego, was charged Friday with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and speaking on a wireless phone while driving after a traffic stop on state Route 17C in the town of Owego.

•John F. Jankovsky, 28, of Candor, was charged Sunday with two counts of endangering the welfare of a child and second-degree harassment. He was arraigned in Candor Town Court and sent to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $2,000 cash bail or $5,000 property bond.

•A 16-year-old Owego youth was charged Saturday with criminal possession of a hypodermic instrument, no inspection and no registration sticker affixed.

•Kaylynn A. Francis, 35, of Cortland, was charged Saturday with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and inadequate exhaust.

•Henry C. Watson, 44, of East Second Street in Coudersport, was charged Wednesday with failure to register as a sex offender for a change of employment within 10 days (Megan's Law).

•William Gaberseck, 77, of Coudersport, was charged Sept. 5 with driving while intoxicated after a traffic stop on Dutch Hill Road in Eulalia Township.

•Police are investigating the theft of a copper core from a Tri-County Electric Co. transformer after someone cut down an electric pole and destroyed the transformer in West Branch Township. Damage was estimated at $1,600.

•Aaron Jerald Mahon, 24, of Shinglehouse, was charged Saturday with unauthorized use of a motor vehicle, driving under the influence, criminal trespass, harassment and a number of traffic violations.

•Leslie W. Miller, 40, of Mainesburg, was charged Sept. 4 with endangering the welfare of children, terroristic threats, assault, recklessly endangering another person and harassment. He was arraigned and committed to the Tioga County Jail in lieu of $50,000 bail.

•Police are seeking information in connection with a Sept. 4 burglary at the Oasis Motel on state Route 15 in Richmond Township. Sometime between 10:30 a.m. and 5:30 p.m. Sept. 4, someone gained access to Room No. 2 through a rear ground-floor window. The person used the shower and stole a plastic bag containing food, a hunting knife and a pair of insulated gloves before fleeing. •Police are seeking information involving a theft that occurred on Sept. 5 or Wednesday at a residence on state Route 6 in Sullivan Township. Police said someone entered the residence, consumed food and stole a large square diamond ring. Anyone with information is asked to call state police at 570/662-2151.

•Charles Aumick Jr., no age provided, of Mansfield, was charged Sept. 4 with improper registration, insurance and inspection on a vehicle involved in an accident on West Gate Road and Canoe Camp Creek Road in Richmond Township. Police report that Aumick was driving down a hill when his brakes failed. The vehicle ran through an intersection, hit a stop sign, struck a bridge and came to rest on the creek embankment.
